Tremec made the T56 for the following cars: '98-02 F-body, Corvette Z06, SVT Mustang Cobra, Aston Martin DB7 Vantage & V12 Vanquish, and Holden Commodore & Holden Monaro, and possibly others.

Keep this in mind; the T56 is made by Tremec, NOT General Motors, and it has been used in several applications all over the place. I cannot tell you the exact differences, I just know that, between the Viper and Z06/F-Body model, the shifter is in a slightly diff't location (believe it's a bit more forward in the Viper assembly).

Might want to re-phrase your question a bit, and I surely hope someone has the knowledge to answer.
