73-80 K30 Crew Cabs Drivetrain

I think I might scrap the lowered truck idea since I moved further north in WA. It will still be in that age range but how much power can the stock front and rearend put up with? The transfer case? Tire wise it will get 33x12.50x20's and if I lift it it wouldnt be more than 4". Im tall but climbing into a really tall truck bites these days lol.
The reason for the change is...traffic bites and I see long dirt roads to skip the highways with. Oh and since I'm going 20's it will get 14" rotors all around.
