Drag racers comment please....

So anyway I got me a 68 chevy C10 long bed and I was wondering how much of a 60' the stock rear end is capable of? before I put some big sticky tires under it, what kinda thing would u guys recommend? tranny is just a TH350 but I have an idea to put a built T56 in it for fun which is worse i know but im not serious about drag racing it, it is more of a fun car but I like to know I wont break anything. I have an auto/stalled Z28 for drag racing. Any chassis mods that are a must, like how sub frame connecters are on Fbody's type of stuff? Is it safe to assume the trucks weight is around 4000lbs? anyone actually weighed a striped down one? I dont have power steering or power brakes no AC, radio, basicaly a bench seat and steering wheel. Ive got 2/3" spring/shock drop on it and new rear trailing arms with a rebuilt 400 bored over to a 406 with some old camal heads on it, but has a TPI from a vette topend on it which i need to get tuning on buts thats all covered. Sorry for the long post and thanks
