Proper Introduction

It's about time I introduced my 72 Blazer. I've owned several Chevys and one GMC over the years, but about five years ago I got a really bad hankerin' for a Blazer. I ended up going to Iraq in the interim and putting my truck in storage, so I haven't been driving a classic Chevy for a while. This spring my wife finally said, "I think you should get your Blazer."

I found this one for $1500. It was last registered in Nevada nine years ago. It has very little rust and a mostly straight body. It needed an engine and an interior. I found a 78 GMC to donate a good 350 (with a new Edelbrock carb on it) and got the front seats out of a 98 Chevy truck and the rear out of a Suburban. I've been driving it every day this summer and it's a blast. There's still plenty of work to do, but at least I've got a good platform to build on and I'm having fun in the meantime.

Anyway, I just thought you might like to see it.
