Fan Shroud.

Has anyone ever fabbed a new fan shroud here? I had my factory shroud and hung onto it for quite a while after I had installed an electric fan. Just before my fan burned out, I gave the shroud to a fella in need.

I am a fella in need now. This motor is a 305 out of an 84 Camaro. It differs quite a bit from the 305 TBI that came in this. Most of the parts and brackets up front were not interchangeable and I had to do quite a bit of fabbing and adjusting to get the ac back on this motor with headers. It looks to me like the fan sits lower in the engine bay than before. It is certainly not centered on the rad, but I don't think the TBI was either. It just looks rather low to me. I guess I can have my aluminum guy weld up a 5 sided box with a ring attached with a few screws on tabs. Basically just looking for pics or other ideas that may accomplish the same thing.
I really dislike the idea of buying plastic aftermarket parts.
Thanks Guys.
