WIW 1972 GMC 40,000 original Miles?
I wasn't sure to ask it here or the parts board so if I am wrong I ask your humble forgiveness. Today driving through northern Ohio I saw a GMC truck sitting behind a garage. So I stopped to investigate. I met the owner and asked if the truck was for sale and he said yes. Now that he has an old 55 Oliver tractor he wants to restore he said it makes sense to sell the truck. This is a 1972 3/4 ton, 350 V8, Automatic, custom with an original 40,000 miles. The interior is very nice and the seat would support the milage on this truck. The glove box sticker reads Model CE25934 and the VIV # TCE242J507149. Bed is seems real solid except for service rust. Cab corners is real solid and the rockers need to be replaced. Otherwise this truck seems very solid. Joe is the second owner as this was his fathers truck. It is a LWB fleetside. So what would be a fair price for the owner and the seller. The owner seems very reasonable and realizes it's not a 1/2 ton fully loaded Chevy so the price will reflect it. Thanks for your info.
