Idle Hands are the Devil's Workshop

I am on light duty these days. I was driving around town today in my new old pickup, and I dropped in to see Don Shaw, a friend in the sign business.

We sat in front of his computer and designed what you see below in about 10 minutes, then he sent it to his vinyl cutting rig, and about 10 minutes and $25 later, I walked out with the vinyl elements and a template. I stuck the template to a piece of scrap aluminum plate, ran the bandsaw around it, filed the edges, polished it a bit, and stuck the two vinyl elements to it.

It is going on the fence at the entrance to my property.
