There was an old thread on this subject. One guy had an aftermarket heater/air unit so he put the controls in the ashtray space and put his DIN stereo in the old heater control hole. Crutchfield makes an under dash mount that can be mounted upside down in the glove box. I did this on my son's '71 because it was all original. The remote control works, but the glovebox door has to be open. I have also cut the dashes in my other son's '67 and my wife's '63. It's your truck do what ever you want.
