I bought a 350 HO Deluxe crate motor

I'm finally working on my truck after a long 9 years of it sitting after I stripped it down to the bare cab. I just picked up a 350 HO Deluxe crate motor last night, & can't wait to put it in.

I have a 4 speed trans that I bought 10 yrs ago from a guy that said its a Muncie, but from pics I've seen I'm not sure. Anyway some friends of mine are telling me that this new engine is too much for the 4 speed trans.

Could they be right? Any help you guys can give me would be appreciated. I'm also ordering parts for converting to disc brakes from McGaughy's. Anybody had any experience with them?

It's great to have a board like this to go to.

Thanks
