slightly O/T -Mastergrip tools
My wife, (bless her!) yesterday bought me a large socket set from CostCo. It is made by a company called Mastergrip and comes in nice shiny red four draw cabinet. I have not come across this company in the UK before (Costco sells a lot of US made tools here) Is this likely to be of reasonable quality? It says that it meets ANSI standards for "Hardness and torque" but frankly am not sure exactly what this means.
I'm just an amateur mechanic so these won't get used every day, but they seem to be a nice comprehensive set (1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives and sockest, 12 point and 6 point sockest and some deep sockets too, hex keys and a few screwdrivers)
