New C20 brakes pulsing???WTF???

Ive replaced my disk/drum brakes on my 72 c20 and now my brakes are pulsing quite a bit more than I'd like... The truck did not puls before the repair, but the rear drums and shoes were HEAVILY grooved, and the inside front pads on both sides were down to the rivets... I installed new shoes (in the right locations) and had the drums turned in the rear and had the rotors turned and new pads in the front... brakes had new fluid in them from this summer and is up to the appropriate level and all wheel cylinders had been replaced this summer as well. AFAIK I made sure everyting was free and lubed in the front calipers (removed and polished all caliper pins and bushings) and the rear drums were adjusted out to provide just a hint of drag. Did I miss something obvious???
