Spindle, hub & bolt pattern help
Ok I'm needing a few different things. First, I need new wheels/tires if you haven't read my other thread. I have a Ford 9" rear end so it's 5x4.5 in the back. Second, I'm also needing to lower the front with spindles/coils. So here's what I'm wanting to do. Get lowered spindles, get new hubs that are 5x4.5, get new rotors that are 5x4.5 or have them redrilled so that I can run a 5x4.5 wheel in the front to match the back. When you do a spindle swap you have to remove and reinstall the hubs/rotors anyway correct? So why not install 5x4.5 hubs/rotors so I can order some wheels/tires. And instead of modifying my really old 1984 hubs/rotors I figured I'd get all new stuff while I'm at it. While doing this, is there anything out there that would be an upgrade to the stock parts that are a direct replacement? Like slotted rotors? And if so would it be worth it? Discuss.
Here's my thread on what wheels I'm trying to run. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=264917 These are the wheels.
