Trans Cooler

Ok, so I have some long term thinking questions. I plan on putting a Duramax in place of my 350 when time and money allows. It will have the Allison transmission attached to it; so my question is this: Do you think a separate trans cooler would be better than a radiator integrated one? I notice that there are a few of the newer trucks with separate trans coolers and some with integrated, both run the Allison. I thought it was the a/c condenser at first, but upon closer inspection it was actually the tranny cooler. I don’t know if this is an option or dealer equipment, or maybe just differences in manufacturing. I’m going with a separate stacked intercooler and oil cooler… I think. Any opinions and ideas are welcome as this will be a rather large project that I’m still planning out. Thanks.
