plow parts for lifted trucks?
I have a 1979 K10 stepside, with 4 inches of lift and 35s. I really think it should have 33s, but that's the way I bought it and the tires are new. Does anybody know where I can get custom/modified push plates to compensate for the lift kit and bigger tires? I guess the plow should sit down about 5 or 6 inches lower, four inches for the lift, and maybe 1 or 2 inches for the increase in size over stock (half the diameter). Somebody mentioned making drop down brackets, but I am sure they wouldn't be as strong. Really I just need the push bar (connects the two push plates that mount to the frame) lowered. Any ideas, experience? We've got four kids, and I need to keep this reasonably cheap. Thanks very much!!
