Cold Weather and Old Upholstery

I went out to my truck to get something from the passenger side the other night…opened the door and, as is the norm, hopped in by placing my knee on the seat to reach what I was going after…CRUNCH! The upholstery was frozen, or at least very cold, and fractured.
I’ve been babying these buddy buckets, waiting for the time when they will be recovered but I figured, what the heck, may as well sit on them in the meanwhile…guess they’re going in the garage now… …beware and take care…this old stuff is fragile.
