My 71 4x4

A real 1971 swb Cheyenne Super 4x4. I know it don't look like it in the pics but I have the glovebox sticker that matches the vin, and it states that it was and it had some good options on it. Buckets, tilt, tach, and under the paint the base color was blue. The owner told us that it was originally blue and white from factory but he had redone the truck since then twice. Both pretty poor jobs, once a metallic red and had a stepside on it, and the other he painted it white. When he redid it red, he took off the trim and he sold the buckets out of it. It was hard to imagine what that truck would of looked like off the showroom floor MAN........ but since we brought this home in early Sept. We have redid the rockers, cab corners, cab floors, undercoated, painted back to blue and white, piecing together trim where we can, found original buckets and console for $130, found some cherry 69 impala seat belts to have original style shoulder harnesses (well close), found a good grille, redid the cruddy bed we had ( good floor, really bad left fender that we replaced with one we bought from a dealer, (not new) but in good shape, POR-15 the frame, found original 4x4 full wheel covers for it for $75 almost perfect, replaced the old 350 with a better one. Still goin to need original tow hooks....... but will wait cuz I am just about broke. THis will be my truck for college next year and we are rustproofing the sh!t out of it. A lot of work but we finally got the bed painted this week and we are getting ready for the body on the frame again.
