utility truck bodies
I have been thinking of getting a 73-87 truck with the utility body on it .. like the one linked int his ebay auction but in our body style not the real high one like the fire department uses for a rescue truck but one where the cabinets are about 2/3 as high as the roof of the cab 3/4 ton suspension or one ton single wheel suspension.. just something that i can organize screws and hardware in. I was thinking of putting a rack on it so i can carry ladders and the bed would accomodate sheetrock on end .. do any of you contractors use these trucks and do you find them worth the trouble? what kind of mileage do you get with the body on there
Can you get bins made for them to take boxes of screws and all? and parking in the city are these things easilly opened by thieves when they break in? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...QQcmdZViewItem
