69 Front Bumper

I am currently in the process of planning out the restoration of our 69 GMC (restro-mod if you will) and have a couple of questions.

1) on the front bumper- what about going to a bumper with fog lights in it, only convert the fog lights to the front turn signals- thus removing the turn signals from the lower grille? I would think all you would have to do is re-route turn signal wires and change the lens of the fog/now turn signal lights.

2) what are some other good mirrors (like 3rd generation camero) to use? I plan on converting to the single glass door windows (removing the vent window).
