Questions About Axle Flip - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guy's,

I was surfin Ebay and ran across the below flip bracket kit, Starting bid is $40 and $11 shipping. States five inch drop and the same (stock) U bolts can be used.

For you who have installed flip kits, Are the two up-rights (arrow) the same height ?

I'm wondering about pinion angle/drive-line vibration ?

Reason I ask is I'm a welder/fabricator and have the stock in my shop to build these, I have already fabbed up a set of 3" drop shackles. Call me cheap, But even if I was lucky enough to get them for opening bid that's $51 that can be spent else-where.
