Rear Window Deflector?

Wife and I have a '99 Tahoe we bought about a year ago. Really like it altho I sometimes miss the roomier full size Suburban we used to have. The 'Burb we had and the Tahoe we have are cargo door models not the tail gate style. The Burb had a rear window deflector factory mounted above the rear door opening which helped at highway speeds to keep crud from dirtying up the rear windows. The '99 Tahoe doesn't have such. Did GM do away with the rear deflector when the third brake light up above was utilized? Don't ever recall seeing a factory deflector? Kind of miss it, almost impossible to keep the back glass clean in wet, snowy conditions or even dry and dusty conditions. Back glass must be magnitized for dust/dirt.
