Re: Die-cast 67-72
I just lost a sealed MPC `69 Chevy/Open Road kit on Ebay.I had a maximum bid at the crazy high price of $126 and some snipe from Japan came along and paid $151.I would never have paid that and really didn`t want to pay what I bid.It was started @$99.00 and had one bid there.I had it at $105 until the last minute.I`m kinda glad he over bid it so much. There must have been quite a few snipes on that one.I know it all comes down to the last minute. But you`re a true snipe if you never even show your face until the end.I will hold off bidding if there`s no action beause I don`t want to draw attention to it as a hot item. But I always place a bid on anything I`m after before the final minute.Oh well...
