Here's what I did:
The seats are racing style from Summit. The seat that was in there was total garbage, but the bench mounting bracket was unharmed. I added a piece of flat steel to the bracket front and back so I could get the seat to align with the steering wheel. Copied the position to the passenger side and all good. Then I fabbed up a center console out of 3/4 ply. I have one large compartment with a hinged door, then a smaller open space in the back. I found a cup holder attachment that I bolted to the front of the console after I covered it with amp fabric. Works great - and in a pinch someone could sit on it. I was able to bolt it in using the existing bolt holes. Used grade 8 bolts on everything. Some pics: The seat bracket mod in progress Testing out the console after installing seats Completed cab
