new guy in north georgia

just moved up here from south fla 3 years ago. i'm retired from working as a lineman, etc, at florida power and light company for 32 years. what a culture shock! going from sunny beaches, top-less bars, and lots of taverns to a dry county with more churches than gas stations! lol oh, well. the taxes are cheap. car ins. is nothing. no car inspections. no emissions. 2 traffic lights in town. the cops all wave. it's like livin' in 'mayberry'. ok. i'm a 63 yo guy..married..got a 3/2 on an acre..and a 57 3100 step that i'm workin' on.
