Wiper Motor ? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm relocating the switches for my wiper motor, and headlights. I have the headlight part figured out. My question is... Regarding the two speeds on the motor itself... Are the low/high speeds built in to the motor (different taps on the windings), or does the switch control the voltage, thus the speed (like a rheostat)?

Thanks for any info you can provide. I'm at work, and trying to get a parts order in today. So I can't very well run this info down on the motor, or switch, right now. Except for asking here, of course.
