New 56 GMC from So Cal

I am new to this site. I found it doing a google search and stumbled across cal58's project. Wow, what a project. My own project is a 1956 GMC 150. I am new to the truck world. I have a few Mach One's and a 59 Skyliner and a couple of other projects. As soon as I got this truck it became one of my favorites. It will need some paint soon though as it was pink (almost white) when I bought it. My daughters have convinced me to keep it this way so far. I plan on painting it after all mods are done. In the meantime I will have to grin and bare it. The truck has 502 GM crate motor with a TH350 and a Camaro front clip. It is lowered but I will be doing some suspension mods. I plan on bagging it and using a either a four link or trailing arm suspension in the rear. The dash is smoothed except for the glovebox and it has a stainless tank under the bed. I am also considering a 700r4. The firewall is smooth and the master and booster are mounted to the frame. It has a tilt column etc... Here are a couple of photos and I will post more as I go. I am learning as I go but this is fun. Thanks for the great site.
