Question Cab differences

I am looking for a new cab for my '72 since it is rusted out above the windshiled and driprail. I found a cab off a '68 truck in the junkyard, that was in great shape. It had no dents, solid rockers (!), and only a little bit of rust in the floorboard. Besides the rearview mirror (i will weld the holes shut), door jamb vents, and parking brake, are there any differences between the cabs? How could i change the parking brake from the 67-68 style to the 69-72 style? Also, i found several air condition cabs that were in decent shape, but my truck has no AC. Is putting the AC parts in my truck that hard? I heard it was a pain in the a$$....

My Daily-Driver: '72 Chevy LWB Custom/10. Rebuilt 350, 300 HP thanks to a few go-fast goodies. Ochre with a white top. Future plans include a frame off restoration, and maybe a blown 383.
