axle bag brackets

Hey guys,

I've decided to go with a bridge kit for the rear end of my truck. How do I determine the axle tube diameter for the axle brackets without re-moving the hubs? I can guesstimate with a tape measure but just looking for feed-back before I fire away on my order. The truck is a 63. I also picked up a 77 1/2 ton parts truck today for $100 . Is the rear end on it going to be the same diameter in case I decide to use it? Thanks.
