Pro's and Con's of 3" drop coils - front

I've recently dropped my c20 and made it level, but have decided I want the rake back but not at the expense of raising the rear. I currently have 2" drop coils in the front. I was wondering what problems I may have going with 3" drop coils. I'm also going to change the front tires from 275/60/17 to 255/60/17 which will give me almost a 1/2" I hoping this combo will give me an addtional 1 - 1.5 in drop in the front. I've been reading alot but I can't seem to get off the fence. I'm not looking to slam the truck, just make it look low with a slight rake. Thanks
