New hope for an unfortunate situation
As a lot of you may know, I had to sell my Chevelle in order to put us in a better position financially. A lot of things have fallen into place however, including a step side truck showing up locally for sale. The bed and frame are good, but the body is rotted. I'm picking that truck up for $300 and I'll swap my body and suspension and brakes over so I'll have a short step again. My plan was to shorten my frame, but with a real tight budget, I think I'll be able to make a nice truck out of it and sell off enough parts to pay for it. Hopefully I'll be able to replace a lot of things while I have the body off and not have to skimp too much.
Pics to come! Meanwhile, I'm using an old truck of mine as inspiration..
