Body Shops in the Des Moines Iowa Area
I'm looking for a good body shop that doesn't specialize in insurance work.
I know, that's like finding a lawyer that doesn't hand out business cards at the scene of an accident. I want to get the cab corners on my truck replaced. I'm doing other metal work, but i think cab corners my be a bit above my head compared to the other stuff i'm shaving / replacing. That, and i did some sanding on one of the cab corners and found that it has already been replaced. I ass-u-me-d it was factory, but the PO did one of those over lap jobs on it. problem is, it's in to far and makes the door appear to stick out. So i'm also concerned that the rocker is not mounted correctly. what do you guys think? should i just man up and jump into the job head first or find a shop? if i take it to a shop, what kind of rate should i expect? no paint. just r/r and paint prep. |
