Dash issue HELP..Send Photos

Hello,

I bought my truck from a guy trying (and I mean TRYING) to make wood dash bezel, glove box and center dash out of wood, BUT unfortunately I didn't like it and am in the process of trying to figure out what I will do for the center dash area (where the ignition, heater control, air vent, etc is located). It was completely cut out...could you guys send some photos of what you did in the center section of the dash OR make suggestions.

I was thinking of having someone fabricate a piece that I could fasten back in there (I would make a template of an original).
