this one was hiding in plain open view behind a local steak house. the owner of the steak house fixed it up for his son 4 years ago he drove it only six months before breaking the crank in the engine. they put a 1980 disc brake front crossmember under it,72 5 hole posi rear,power booster,power steering,new interior, they paid a local body shop $3400.00 to put on rockers and cab corners and to paint it with base coat clear coat paint. they even painted inside of the cab. it is super slick. the down side is that it has a 403 oldsmobile in it all chromed out. i will be yanking that junker next week and get started puting in a gen 3 small block. i have my choices between a 5.3 and 4l60e and a lq4 6.0 and 4l80e trans. if i go with the 6.0 i will put in a cam and headers. if i go with the 5.3 it will be stock. the truck does not have a/c. i will be going with a aftermarket unit on this.also be putting in a van tilt. prolly some 8 inch ralleyes. and rear disc. i may paint the top white.maybe put on the upper mouldings. i paid $3500.00 for the old rig.
