K20 PS, what is it gonna take?
With the warm weather on its way back (I am hopeful) I have decided it is time to put PS on my truck, I was so pleased with the PB...I am gonna get spoiled!
I purchased PS gearbox and a pump a while back....both appear to need a rebuild, and in the spirit of not doing things twice, I have decided to use them as cores....but I do have questions. What do I need to put a PS system on my 250? Below is my list so far. -PS gear box -PS pump (I assume I have to remove the pulley from my core?) -PS lines -Rag joint -I have brackets from a spare 250 engine that I bought, What bolts do I need to mount the pump and the pulleys? -Do I need a new double groove main pulley on the engine, or is the PS pump driven by the same belt as the alt? -I know I need a new belt....what size? Also, if someone could post a pic, I know i have seen one before.....just can't remember who posted it. Thanks!
