Another one from the Buckeye

Salutations all! My name is Ryan and I am restoring a 63 Chevy short bed custom from the frame up. Just finished the rolling chassis and now its time to get on with the bodywork. Hope to have it completed by Memorial Day. A little about my truck Maria. It is lowered 2in in the front and 4in in the back with heavy duty springs. It has a 1985 8.5 truck rearend, with a car posi, and 3.73 gears, front heavy duty discs and 2.75 wide heavy duty rear drums, 1973 front suspension with poly bushings, a 93 700r4 tranny with a mild stall and shift kit, rear tank(66 mustang tank) with and a reese hitch, a modified 350 engine thats pushing around 375hp. It also has a modified van auto tilt column. Modified meaning I shortened the shaft to the length of the 67 72 truck columns. I also moved the engine forward 2.75 inches and used an auto tranny crossmember from a 72 chevy truck as well as the engine cradles from the same truck. Used the emergency brake system from a 66-72 truck. There is so much more! These trucks are great. Sorry to ramble on! This site is wonderful with a wealth of knowledge in it.
