Hello From Ohio

Hey, I joined the board a while ago to start learning about my new truck. Well, not new, really. It's a 1970 C-10, long bed, step-side. It's been lowered a bit (haven't looked at exactly how much yet, but it's even all around). Nice big 295 tires. Good look to it. It has a relatively recently rebuilt 283 with a Holley 4150 and some 4-into-1 headers. The old 3 on the tree was replaced with 3 on the floor. Much cooler. Little rust in the typical places. It's a cool truck. Much better than the '81 Ford I had before this. I'll post some pics later on.

It had a knock when I got it. There was a really long main cap bolt, with some washers on to make it reach the actual cap. New set of ARP bolts and that was solved. Now I just need to get the tranny working right. It just isn't shifting right. Then I can get to enjoying it. Off to search for some advice!
