What's it take to make a 2500 a 1500?

okay guys, after many arguments and disappointments I finally bought the 1999 2500, 2wd, SWB, crew cab.

I want to lower it 4/6 and change it over to 5 lug. Besides a flip kit, drop spindles, and lowering springs(don't know if I can cut them) what else do I need to do to make it a 5 lug?

I know there is a light duty and a heavy duty on some of the front end parts such as ball joints and upper control arms

7200 GVW or 8600 GVW
