good Craigslist trip

Today my Dad and I went out on a motor hunt. We got a lead from Craigslist. Guy had a good running 350 Vortec with 700R4, wanted 450 for it all. He told us while we were there that everything he has is going to the crusher in about a month. He also said for that 450 bucks you can have a free run at the whole lot and get what ya want. Only thing was that he wants 15 bucks for aluminum wheels because that's what he gets paid to scrap them, unfortunately there wasn't any we could use. He only has 1 72 lwb that is more rust than metal but we basically got everything usable off of it. Everything but the glass, we're going back tomorrow. We got everything to put the engine tranny into the 72 we got off of Craigslist a few weeks ago. All in all I thought it was a pretty sweet deal.
