Question radiator question

I got a rad from a 52 chevy 3 ton and found out yesterday that it is different than my 54 gmc 1.5 ton rad. the chevy one has the cap on the top of the tank. the gmc rad has a neck on the engine side that the cap goes on. not that it's a big deal. just want to know if what i paid for the chevy rad was too much and can i recoup my money to put twards getting my gmc rad fixed. I paid $70.00 for the chevy rad that came out of a running truck. I pressure tested the rad before i pulled it out. it is a good rad. it is a harrison 3128514. here is a pix.
