Frame and Floor “Fix” Kits

Guy at work bought an ’87 or 88 K5 (FI).

Someone in the shop told him to come talk to me if he had any questions. He said he needed new seats and it so happens I have a nice set of K5 buckets in real nice shape (even the right color – blue!).
So we went out to look at his truck and he showed me how “sloppy” the seats were. But it seemed to me that the whole seat including the risers was moving not just the seats.
I look underneath the truck and the floor boards where the seats bolted down were cracked and broken on three of four bolts on the driver side and at least one on the passenger side. Yikes!
Seems to me that he needs a complete floor piece but I was wondering if they made a stronger than stock one or if there was some sort of reinforcement kit to prevent this from happening?

On another guys truck (1/2 ton 2wd) I noticed that on the passenger side on both the front and rear shock mounts, they appeared to be broken with what looked like big washers welded in place. I had heard that in the 4x4 world this is a common problem with the GM trucks of this vintage.
So again, is there some sort of repair/reinforcement kit available for this?

I know they make a kit for the steering boxes just wondering what else is available.
Thanks in advance!
