6 Cylinder Engines

This is just a short question. What 6 cylinder engine came standard in a 67 C-20?

I normally deal with V-8s but plan on putting a 6 in the next truck I am going to hopefully build in the future. I know I am a little different, at least my son thinks so, because I want to build a '67 basic short stepper with a 6 and 4 speed granny tranny. My son likes Big Blocks or Small Blocks with a lot of power.

I am collecting stuff now, so far I have a '70 GMC short frame, a small window cab and front clip off a '67 and a 4 speed tranny.

Thank you in advance.

Danny
