The day I have been waiting for. It is just beautiful outside. 59 degrees and black shirt makes it feel like 79. I have really been feeling stuck indoors lately so I decided to just go do it.
I wasn't happy about my ride since I have brought it home. Imagine, No, look at this mess.



I hate clutter so it had to go. Not to mention it was an ill running 2 barrel carb. EGR. My 67 doesn't need one of those. Corvette block? I checked the numbers and it is. Still need to pull valve covers to check if heads are as different as the rest of the beast.
Ok, back today. I got this together and with the warm sun on my back. Not pretty but is working better already. Free carb, rebuilt by yours truly, Junk yard intake. Plain Jane, just like I like my intakes. The PO or someone before him has put chains around the frame and bolted to heads. Is this a Redneck cure for bad motor mounts? Took the boy to the local general store over the bridge and am really liking the new combination.
