1970 c10 resto(2nd attempt)

ok so here goes again bought it for 1k lets see how much i get into it on this one.

1k truck
100 storage unit (x6)
75 cheep wheels(theft)
75 tow
150 plug wires, spark plugs, dizzy cap and rotor, freeze plugs, assorted odds and ends.
50 diehard battery
75 harmonic ballencer
400 heads
50 used carb
50 misc bolts, hosing and fittings
130 carb spacer and studs, radiator hoses and clamps
450 engine block, cam, crank, pistons, small starter, bearings
160 gaskets, motor mounts, flywheel, new water neck
50 rear main seal and hold down
50 h/v meling oil pump and pickup
190 aluminum oil pan, alum timing cover, milled wire looms felpro 1 pce gasket
100 holley blue fuel pump and regulator
290 misc tools, sealant plastigauge, grease, cleaner, primer, paint
750 new tires and rims
175 new brake booster
75 oils anitifreese, and hoses
75 engine tuning
75 wiring, windshield wiper blades

$5225 to date

story with this one is the guy had a voteck class that he was teaching and this was the vehicle they where working on. the owner had got into a bad motorcycle accident and went mental(literally) he took a hammer to the entire truck, hence the dents everywhere.

stuff on the agenda

1. install new freeze plugs(done)
2. head gaskets, intake gasket(ended up changing the heads in the proces, done)
3. battery plugs wires dizzy cap header bolts(done)
4. possible leak in radiator, to be repaired, or replaced
5. remove all jerry rigged items and or all duck tape
6. rework wiring (in progress)
7. get carb and install (done)
8. change out the steering column and shifting linkage(parts courtesy of 'jeffspower',done)
9. new headlamp assemballys
10. ac hosing and compressor
11. u joint needs replaced(done)
12. install vacuum lines to break booster, and transmission(done)
13. fix the emergency brake system(in progress)
14. change harmonic ballencer(done)
15. comeplete engine over haul(done
16. pull trans, install shift kit and higher stall torque converter(done)
17. plumb fuel pump(done)
18. Install a oil pressure cutoff to the fuel pump
