From what I am hearing, the new unit(s) are not as bulky as the old ones. As far as the drive shaft, it will have to be shortened, but that isn't a big deal, in fact I just had it done when I built the truck. I did raise the motor when I set it up and I am hoping that there isn't any issues there. Guess we will know soon enough............
