Low 4x4 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Im in the market for a 67,68 k10 4x4, my problem is the ride height, i like the way the low trucks look but i need the usability of the 4wd. So, my question is... how can I get a 4x4 to look like a lowered 4x2? One possibility i was thinking about was something similar to a small c-notch in the front frame to get the nose down or, possibly front 4 link?. Any experience with this or any low 4x4? Any Ideas? Thanks
