Fuel Gauge problem

Hey everyone hows it going i recently installed a brand new gas tank in my blazer and my only problem after the install is my gas gauge decided to be dumb. I made a little drawing to help explain whats wrong i was hoping someone could help me with my problem. The little full arrow is were the tank is full could someone help me why the gauge wouldn't travel all the way to full with a full tank i mean the gauge still works just not completly
