Cool TECH: Electric Fan/Stock Shroud

I didn't know where to post this, but I do most my posting in the 4x4 section so here it is: For years I've ran a straight blade 16" electric fan mounted flush to my radiator w/no shroud. It worked OK but I've always had mild overheating problems when doing multiple high RPM attempts at hill-climbs, obstacles, ect.
A new radiator and water pump didn't make it better. So I had a brain storm, I've never seen this done, I'm sure it has been done but I haven't seen it.

I mounted a new 16" S-Blade electric fan inside my stock shroud with a sheet of aluminum. It was pretty easy. A card-board template, a little trimming, some minor forming with a hammer, a bunch of machine screws/bolts and......

Kinda low-tech, but it works AWESOME!! Also it looks good enough (by accident) for a show truck IMO.
