Engine Bogging
Hey all need a little help.
I got a 72 C10 with a built 383 Stroker (supposed to be around 425hp), I currently have a 600 holley on it due to gas prices and timing is set at 25 degrees ptdc. The problem is if I try to give it too much gas too fast it bogs and stutters, but if I ease into it it runs just fine. And like all of us hotrodders I want to be able to hammer it down off the line. Not sure if it's not getting enough gas with the smaller carb. I have a 750 dual feed I can put on but if there is anything that I can do with the 600 to have better throttle response I would prefer to keep it on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
