couple broken leaf springs, options?
noticed i have a couple broken leaf springs in the rear, is there anywhere that i can just get the new broken ones and not have to get a whole new spring pack? ive looked on summit and a few other sites and cant really find any stock height replacements, anybody have any other options? or possibly a set of used rear springs for sale somewhere in between morgantown WV and shelton CT?
a friend mentioned i could bend up a piece of metal to hold the springs in place for now, is it smart to put the heat of a torch that close to my other springs when bending the piece around the pack? or is it better to weld something around it? the truck doesnt leave morgantown and doesnt see much offroading. just looking for the cheapest, safest solution.
