Good to know a machinist!
I have been needing to locate a coupler for the adapter I am using between a Rockwell and an SM465. The coupler I had from my three speed adapter was too long. Greg (gregs_place) had a worn coupler and gave it to me so I could have mine machined down. Luckily I know a guy who works in a machine shop and he set me right up. He cut it down then cut out the inside splines about 1/2". The finished product looks perfect!
Here's a few pics just for the heck of it.
