Topless 67 to 72 pickups??

Who had done it?
I ask because my truck is just on the verge of being worth putting any real money into.
As usuall here in Florida the salt and weather have eaten it alive, especially the front roof.
Yea, I could drop it off at a body shop or put 20 pounds of welding wire in it or get a cab from out west.
But this is a real low buck project.
Iam going to fix it up on the cheap with some metal repair and some dynaglass and let it ride for a while. I have already cut alot of the rust out and used POR 15 to seal it up some.
But in the end I know that front cab is going to have to go.
I love converts and a open top roadster truck would be neat. In my opinion.
Laid, not quite to the frame and a open top would be cool for a driver that would have some fun appeal to it.
So, any pics out there? I saw the suburban and thought it was pretty cool.
